1)What is the “law of Undulation” Give an example of this in your life.
The "law of Undulation" is like a series of disappointments or troubles in someone's life. In Screwtape, he explains that patients always fall into this despair in a variety of ways. Personally, this has also been apart of my life. I always start a new school year feeling somewhat happy to be back but shortly after it seems like busywork for classes.
2)What is Screwtape’s idea on the best way for humans to die? Why?
Screwtape's conceived idea for death is to die in costly nursing homes. He proposed this so that people would be lied to about being becoming healthier. He rather have this than death in war where people have fear in their hearts and turn towards God.
3)“Our cause is never more in danger, than when a human, no longer desiring, but intending, to do our Enemy's will, looks round upon a universe from which every trace of Him seems to have vanished, and asks why he has been forsaken, and still obeys.” What are your thoughts on this?
This seems like a typical concept that Christians always fall into. It's the idea that devils will never completely grasp a Christian because of their faith in God. I have seen this in other people's lives and it' outstanding to hear about it. People always fall into despair and from this found truth in God.

Screwtape Letters “Chapters I-IV Questions"
1.What are your "daily pinpricks"? For myself, spiral paper eats at something deep inside me.
My "daily pinpricks" or pet peeves are a wide array of different things. I am sometimes OCD with organizing things neatly and making them look good. Another daily pinprick is when people ask questions that have obvious answers. It also annoys me when people ask me questions that either don't make sense or that they should already know.
2.What are you passive about because of the "ordinariness of things"? Is it your family? Your life? Your church or school?
When I hear "ordinariness of things" I think of everyday life becoming dull. This usually happens at home and school. By around the third quarter for school it seems like the same thing everyday and leaves a dull feeling. This sometimes leads me to becoming lazier in school. This also applies to chapel as it usually ends up being the same messages. At home, I almost follow a routine that is inevitable because of how my days go.
3.What do you think about the following quote? "The Enemy allows this disappointment to occur on the threshold of every human endeavour.”
The quote refers to how God leaves people to be dissatisfied with their life when they encounter trials. This may look true to people who don't understand God but people who do know him know that this is not true. He is a just God who can sometimes say no to our prayers and gives us trials to show us His glory. He has already given us the ultimate gift which is eternal life.

Writing assignment
1.Writing helps educate students into becoming more professional. People go through a change in their style of writing after writing countless essays and papers. Their writing change from mere texts into well organized thoughts. Writing for me personally is a bore unless its a topic I'm interested and intrigued about. Although most people dislike writing, it greatly helps them become into better individuals.
2. Reading helps expands people's knowledge of the world. Books give insight into information people may not know. Reading is a boundless adventure through different characters and stories. From children stories to teen novels, anyone can learn more through reading. Recently the book "Amazing Grace" has given me insight into a great man named William Wilberforce.
3.Technology is a growing part of people's everyday lives and is still growing. From the gaming world to the practical world of technology, it has expanded greatly within the last couple years. I am glad that technology is growing but there are security issues and other issues that are to be considered with the growth of technology.
4.Learning is by far the most difficult thing to understand. Each person has their own way of learning which is hard for schools to handle. Although schools are slowly figuring out how to improve the education system, it requires a lot of time before they figure out a efficient way for students to learn at their full potential. Things such as book reports and projects are subject to the class and how the teacher is teaching his/her students. Tests and quizzes are also subject to change. Things like that should adapt to the class and how students learn best. Test and quiz material is usually soon forgotten so students never really fully learn the material.
5. I chose this class because I heard from previous students about it and how it was. I also wanted to have a more challenging and fun English class this year.
